The Institut de la Langue Régionale Flamande ANVT-ILRF is a classical French non-profit organisation in the sense that its membres work together for a common interest. They aim at the development of West Flemish in France.

The ANVT-ILRF consists of executive bodies (Board and Comimittee) and commisions whose members can discuss freely any matter relevant to the aim of the organisation. Any decision reached by majority is expected to be fully supported by the associations whose representatives have been elected as membres of the ANVT-ILRF. If any membre of the ANVT-ILRF disagrees with the decisions reached by majority or the resulting actions of the organisation, they are free to leave the organisation, make alternative decisions and carry out actions of their own.
